Refund & Return Policy

1. Return Window

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. The 30-day period begins on the date the item is delivered to you.

2. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

  • Item must be unused, unassembled, and in the same condition as received
  • Item must be in original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and documentation
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) must be included
  • Gas-powered equipment must not have had fuel added
  • Battery-powered equipment must not show signs of use or charging cycles

Items that do not meet these conditions may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% or may be returned to you.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Consumables including fuel, oil, chains, trimmer line, and blades (unless defective)
  • Personal protective equipment including helmets, gloves, and safety glasses (for hygiene reasons)
  • Custom or special-order items
  • Gift cards
  • Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" at time of purchase

4. How to Return an Item

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our customer service team at support@gartengeraete-shop.us or through our Contact page to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
  2. Pack the item securely in its original packaging, including all accessories and documentation.
  3. Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the package.
  4. Ship the item to the address provided by our customer service team.

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or the wrong item was shipped. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for items over $200.

5. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and the status of your refund. Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days of receiving the returned item.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please note that depending on your payment provider, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

6. Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@gartengeraete-shop.us with photos of the damage. We will arrange for a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you, including return shipping.

7. Warranty Returns

For items under manufacturer warranty that fail during the warranty period, please contact us for warranty service. We will coordinate with the manufacturer to repair or replace the item according to the manufacturer's warranty terms. Manufacturer warranty periods vary by product and brand.

8. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item for a different size, color, or model, please initiate a return for the original item and place a new order for the desired item. This ensures the fastest processing time.
